3. The bonding strength of the carton is poor. To judge whether the carton is well bonded, just tear off the bonding surface by hand. Therefore, the number of cardboard layers used in the carton should be considered according to the weight, nature, stacking height, storage and transportation conditions, storage time and other factors of the packaged goods.
5. The printing design of the carton is unreasonable, and the corrugated shape and structure of the corrugated cardboard determine the bearing pressure of the corrugated cardboard. Printing will cause certain damage to corrugated cardboard, and the size of the pressure and the size of the bearing area is a major factor affecting the compressive strength of the carton. If the printing pressure is too large, the corrugation will be easily crushed and the corrugated height will be reduced. When the carton is full or printed around, in addition to the pressing effect of the embossing roller on the corrugated cardboard, the ink also has a wetting effect on the paper surface, which reduces the compressive strength of the carton. When the general carton is fully printed, its compressive strength will drop by about 40%.
6. The corrugated deformation of the carton, the corrugated cardboard itself is soft, the plane strength is low, and the rigidity is also low. Because the shape of the corrugated is directly related to the compressive strength of the corrugated cardboard. The shape of corrugated is generally divided into U-shaped, V-shaped and UV-shaped. The U shape has good extensibility, elasticity and high energy absorption. Within the elastic limit, it can still return to its original state when the pressure is removed, but because the focus point of the arc is unstable, the flat compression strength is not high. The V-type has little contact with the paper surface, poor adhesion and easy peeling. With the help of the combined force of the two diagonal lines, the force is good, and the flat pressure strength is large. However, if the external force exceeds the pressure limit it bears, the corrugated shape will be destroyed, and the original shape cannot be restored after the pressure is removed. UV type takes the advantages of the above two types of flutes, has higher compressive strength, better elasticity and elastic recovery ability, and is an ideal flute type.
